Students at Sevalaya initiated a Design for Change program to address the problem of plastic waste in surrounding villages. Over four weeks, they assessed the situation, developed strategies to raise awareness, and went door-to-door educating villagers about the harms of plastic and encouraging its reduction and proper disposal. On the final day, students organized rallies and street plays to reinforce the message while cleaning plastic waste from dumps. Their efforts resulted in noticeable improvements, with villages looking cleaner at the end.
